RULES FOR COMPETITORS

 

1.   The Games shall be open to all comers except where otherwise stated.

2.   No entry money will be charged, but all competitors must pay admission money to the field.

3.   Competitors in Confined Events must either have been born in the County or resident for at least 6 consecutive months. Confined and Open Events may be run together, at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course.

4.   Competitors in local events must have been born in Durness or Eddrachillies, or resident for at least 6 consecutive months.

5.   In competitions where there are not more competitors than prizes, prize money may be with held at the Judges' discretion.

6   The Committee reserves the right to alter the order of events.

7.   Only Officials, Competitors and Members of the Press will be allowed inside the Course.

8.   All prize money must be collected from the secretary's tent.

9.   Trophies may not be collected before the end of the Games.

10. No Trophies to be taken out of the UK.

11. All competitors’ taking part in Open Heavy Events must wear Highland Dress (kilt).

12. The decision of the judges will be final.
